There are some 2,500 different species of palm trees. Or so a reference guide says. That notwithstanding, it is undoubtedly true that they provide an interesting assemblage of textures. This image was made in Palm Harbor, Florida during an afternoon walk with Kirby.

I like photographing trees. It comes as no surprise that the trees in Florida are different than the trees in Ohio. Palm trees are particularly interesting. The variety, size and shapes are fascinating.
